Getting Through the Novice Mindset

While it is true that you always need to remember something about being a beginner when you play the massively popular table card game of Blackjack, it is also true that you need to shake the novice mindset in terms of being hesitant and nervous about the way that you are playing the game.  It will ultimately take you a long time to get to a point in the game of Blackjack where you are winning big money on a consistent basis, but at the end of the day it is all about the journey of the individual hand that will ultimately set you apart from the beginner’s mindset.  It does you no good to fret about the hand that you just played when you have a brand new hand right in front of you.  The only way that you are going to win at the game of Blackjack is if you try to win money from the hand that you playing in the present moment.  This is the only hand that is going to be your key to big money in the long term.

 

            While there are some strategies like advanced card counting that require you to think about the implications that the past and future hands have on each other, it is also true that you need to focus on the hand that is right in front of you.  Again, it may take some time, but at the end of the day you bankroll will thank you for your commitment to a better game.
