The Only Hand

The only hand is the hand that you are playing

Many people say that the best way to play a series of hands of the massively popular table card game of Blackjack is to play each and every hand as if it is the only hand that you play.  This might be a hard mindset to come by, especially if you are of the assumption that you can win by using card counting.  On the other side of things, the only hand that you going to win is the hand that is dealt to you.  You will not be able to win the hand that you just lost, nor will you be able to win the hand that is after the one that you are playing now.  While you could theoretically win the hand after you play the present hand, but the mindset is that you need to be extremely present in the moment in which you are.

 

            The game of Blackjack is also a game that sometimes works best over a period of time, so if you are someone who is subscribing to the long term mindset, then it is possible that you can practice as hard as you can in order to make the most out of the time that you spend at the Blackjack table.  Sometimes the nature of the game can make your bankroll seem like a sort of rollercoaster, but at the end of the day you need to make the most of the present moment that you face when you belly up to a Blackjack table.
