Within the game of Blackjack, there are many different kinds of strategies that an average player can adopt because of the fact that the game of Blackjack holds the key to a very eclectic set of embedded statistics that advanced players know how to use to their advantage. In some cases, advanced Blackjack players will have to go above and beyond the call of a normal hand and push the limits of what they thought possible within the realms of Blackjack strategy.
This may require the Blackjack player to break some rules, although the occasional rule breaking has been proven to earn the player big money if it is done in an effective manner. If an very rare series of hands occurs where virtually all the remaining cards are big (tens or nines) and a counter catches a pair of tens against a pretty dealer 6, he or she may choose to split and try and back the initial bet and then some. On the other side of things, most counting systems and advanced strategies would advise Blackjack player not to do this because of the fact that they already have a very good hand going for them. It is a very rare case where the player is dealt a hand that is one numeric point away from a perfect hand, and the odds of the Blackjack dealer hitting a twenty one in that exact moment is very unlikely to happen. However, sometimes risk has to be taken; which means that there is a chance that you could win big money because of it.
