Blackjack is a game of numbers.
More specifically, it boils down to statistics. if you are good in Math

It all boils down to the number 21. The objective of the game is to get
your card total to 21, or come as close as possible to 21 without going over.
If you card total exceeds 21, you BUST and loose automatically. If you get
21 on your first two cards, this is a "Blackjack" and you will get paid
3:2. This is where you advantage comes in. Counting Cards
For those of you that are good in Math, you can actually gain the
advantage over the house by counting cards. To do this, you will assign a
point value to every card in the deck, and keep a running track of the
point total of all cards that have been dealt out of the deck. In doing
so, you are able to observe when many of the lower number cards are no
longer in the dealer's shoe, thus increasing your chances of hitting a
blackjack. When you do HIT, these pay 3:2 so its better you increase your
